These photos are from a mid August 2024 trip in to the Wind River Range in Wyoming.
We started at Elkhart Park Trailhead on the west edge of Bridger wilderness.
The trip spans a 9 days in to Titcomb Basin, then north to Upper Jean Lake.
Rain, hail and cold high winds had us skip the northern portion, missing Summit and
Palmer Lakes and coming out at New Fork Lakes.
Out of over 20 trips in to The Winds, this trip offered the worst weather of any of them.
We spent way too much time under a tarp or in tents, hence not as much fishing as anticipated.
From Upper Jean Lake we dropped back to Fremont Crossing, then back to Seneca Lake.
