Looking east toward Ollalie Butte from west end of Lower Lake.
This lake has some OK camp site options at the west end, none on the north side.
Lower Lake is about 5 minutes descent from the trail head.
Best kids areas are right when you arrive at the east end or at the very west end.
The lake depth drops off fast all along the wooded south side in this view.
Lots of BIG boulders and bottom cover for fish.
Lower Lake has some serious fish in it, even though I did not have any luck with them.
A beaver showed up both times I fished it and went straight for where the fish were rising
along the south shore line. They quit rising as soon as the beaver showed up.
